Digga's BBQ Rub - 200g

Digga's BBQ Rub is a dry ingredient alternative to a liquid marinade that can be used when preparing all kinds of foods before BBQing, roasting, smoking or frying.

A blend of herbs and spices including Paprika, Cracked Pepper, Chilli, Garlic and Onion combined with a malt, sugar and salt carrier makes Digga's BBQ Rub a delicious, piquant and yet versatile addition to an amazing range of foods.

Digga's BBQ Rub can be used in everything from red meats, white meats, seafood and vegetables, the limit is your imagination.

Use a light dusting for foods that have a delicate flavour and shorter cooking time like poultry, fish, seafood and eggs. Use a heavier dusting for stronger flavoured meats like Roast Beef, Pork, Lamb, Venison, Spare Ribs and more.

Suggested Uses

Fish or poultry

1. Wash the meat and pat it dry.
   
2. Sprinke Digga's BBQ Rub lightly and massage it gently into the meat prior to cooking.
3. BBQ, fry or smoke as you prefer. 
   

Beef, Pork, Lamb, Venison

1. Moisten the meat with water, wine, beer, bourbon...you get the picture.
2. Sprinkle Digga's BBQ Rub more heavily on to the meat and rub it in (the more you add, the "hotter" it will be), prior to cooking.
   
3. BBQ, fry, roast or smoke as you prefer.
   

You can also use it to add a "zing" to vegetable dishes. Try it in mashed potato, scrambled eggs, omelettes, fried onions and more!

Digga's BBQ Rub can also be used to make jerky, simply add a little extra salt or soy sauce to taste,

mix it with your meat and leave it overnight in the fridge to cure before drying at 65 degrees Celsius in your oven, smoker or dehydrator!
