Product Description
The NEW Wetpak India Pale Ale (IPA) Production Pack, in the style of a traditional IPA, exhibits a strong, hoppy aroma, light amber hue and a punchy, hop bitterness.
If you like a truly bitter beer that's full of flavour but not too heavy on the alcohol side, this one is for you!
The NEW Wetpak Production Packs use the same formualtions we have had for years, but now give you the option of changing your base malts (purchased separately).
Use in conjunction with 3kg of liquid malt OR your favourite grain bill.
Contents – 150g Grain, Bittering Hop Sachet, Finishing Hop Sachet, Yeast Sachet
Recommended Base Malts
Southern Lager – 3kg Light Liquid Malt
European Pilsner – 3kg Light Liquid Malt
American Pale – 3kg Pale Liquid Malt
English Bitter – 1.5kg Light & 1.5kg Amber Liquid Malt
Australian Old Porter – 1.5kg Light & 1.5kg Dark Liquid Malt
Summer Wheat – 3kg Liquid Wheat Malt
Classic Oak Ale – 3kg Pale Liquid Malt
Oatmeal Stout – 3kg Dark Liquid Malt
India Pale Ale - 1.5kg Light & 1.5kg Amber Liquid Malt
NOTE – there are NO rules and you can adjust these malts to suit your tastes!

Great juicy IPA

Love this IPA! Little on the bitter side for my liking so I will add the finishing hops very late on if not whilst I am cooling the wort down next time.
Dry hopped with 50/50/50 azacca, galaxy, mosaic! Turned out 3.98% ABV but I’m still happy with it. Might add some booster next time to bring that up.

Best brew I have ever done

Absolute stand out. I have done tins, BIAB and fresh wort kits and this was by far the best brew I have ever done. I added 500g of LDME and 500g of dex just because I had it lying around and I will be doing that again as it makes the body and taste superb. Well done fellas. Will be making again and forgo all others!

Best alternative to all grain, and not far off taste wise.
Highly recommended, add 1.2kg brew sugar for a 20L batch to reach 6.5%, fantastic hoppy flavour

Top ipa

Made a west coast iipa with this as the base. Added extra biscuit and special k grain to the boil with a heap of Simcoe hops. Finished 9.6% . Full flavoured with a great hop bitterness finish. Will brew again possibly with less extras. Can't recommend higher!

have tried a number of ipa's and this one is right up there.plenty of flavour and loved the bitter aftertaste.will definitely try it again but may extra hop it for more bitterness and aroma.

Excellent beer one of the most flavoursome so far. I brewed to 24L and added some extra cluster hops and 500g LDME + 2000g of Dex because I already had it here and I was didn't want to dilute its alcohol content. I overshot it in that regard 8.5% in the bottle. Full flavour and can put you on your ass if you don't watch out.

I came pretty close to Feral Hop Hog with this as the base.

My Best Brew Yet

This came as part of the Country Brewer Sierra Nevada Torpedo IPA. This was my favourite Notre Americano beer I tasted while on a recent holiday visiting Canadian relos. I made the recipe to 18l to boost flavour and alcohol. This gave a rich full flavoured IPA comparable with the best commercial beers I've tried.
