  1. First brew in a long time, fantastic.

Awesome kit for brewing your first beer, with a little taste of steeping some grains too. So happy with this for my first brew back.

  2. A really easy kit to use

Posted by Al B on 7th Sep 2020

Felt like doing a quick kit, on recommendation of the clerk for an easy HW - this turned out very nicely. Highly drinkable/smashable, this keg is not going to last long!

  3. Did this for my first ever Beer

Posted by Travis on 9th Jan 2020

I went over to the ladies over at Nepean about doing my first beer and they recommended this one. After fermenting i let it age for 3 months and the results from friends and family were absolutely amazing. I have done 3 different other types since but nothing compares to the summer Wheat Wetpak. A fellow brewer suggested adding some lemon next time so my next batch i will try this!

  4. Remade adding 500g honey at end of mash

Posted by Paul on 15th Sep 2014

I did a previous review of this beer and as it had an intense bitter flavour at first I remade it with the Country Brewer's suggestion of adding 500g honey. It made a huge difference to the flavour and it is an excellent winter beer (wheat beer and malty black beers are my winter favourite). I'll definately be doing this again next winter.

  5. Full bodied bitter wheat beer

Posted by Paul on 28th Apr 2014

This was my first home brew and it worked out well. I was a little worried about the hops going into the fermenter without a bag so put the beer through a fine strainer before going into the keg as all the hops didn't go to the bottom. Very minute amount of sediment. Came out as a cloudy beer but as it is a wheat beer i didn't filter. It was a delicious beer with a bitter taste ( which I don't mind) and an excellent beer for the winter months. I will definately do this one again. The work of boiling the grain and adding the orange and coriander added so much to the taste.
