Wal's Pale Ale is a traditional Australian style Pale Ale, golden in colour with a delicate bitterness. This is definitely a popular session beer.
Fresh hops added to the concentrate give an added hop "punch" to the Wal's Range of beers.
*** Note: Upon opening the can, you may see what looks like candied sugar or a green crust. Don't panic, it's just the fresh hops within the can that have come to the surface of the malt. They're supposed to be there! ***
*** Makes 22 Litres ***

This is by far the best extract option on the market.
I have brewed all other brands.
basic brew enhancer 1kg.
I dry hopped day 4, 40g citra hops.
I also out of fear discarded kit yeast and used BRY-97 @ 18 degrees.
Beer was cold crashed and transferred and sat at 10psi for almost 3 months in the keg in the cold room.
Resulted in the best tasting Extract option I have ever had. I'm going back to buy more of these.

First brew ever. Followed the instructions to the letter and very happy with the end product (sort of tastes a bit like a coopers green bottle). Will probably do it again in future

Tried to make a 'Grifter Pale Ale' clone with a recipe that Sam from Petersham made up on the spot, results are very close.
Ingredients:
Wal's Pale Ale Kit
1KG Ultraboost
150gram wheat (steeped)
12g Amarillo infused, 12g Cascade infused
OG 1040 FG 1011
Impatient with first brew so primary fermenter for 5 days, 3 days cold crash in the kegerator, force carbonated in 3 hours at 40psi with a bit of shaking. Perfect for hot Sydney weather

Very happy with this Pale Ale. Medium bodied, delicate hop aroma. I also added 15g of Galaxy Hops during boil, pitched with Safale US-05 yeast and then dry hopped with another 15g Galaxy Hops. Result is close to Stone and Wood Pacific Ale.
