  1. Lime in Corona

Posted by Kelsey on 24th Jan 2019

I add Lime in the fermentation stage also.
I tend to freeze a lime and then I will use a shredder to shred a quarter of that lime in with the Hallertua hops before adding the lot to the wort. It works a treat without being too over bearing.

  2. Clean crisp tasting beer

    Posted by chambo01@bigpond.com on 15th Nov 2014

I brew my Corona style beer a little different
Usually when drinking Corona's you usually add a slice of lemon or lime
I brew it with the lime juice at the first fermentation stage.
Then decant into Tap King 3.2ltr kegs
Add 8 carbonation drops to each keg, fit a new 12g CO2 canister and store for a couple of weeks
Each keg so far has produced a crisp, clear nicely carbonated beer, so good my wife drinks it
Have made a few brews this way and have not failed yet.
