Great beer, it has aged for two months now and the flavour keeps on changing. Easy to make and I believe it is better than the original and simple to make. Definitely will be putting another one down before Christmas.

An absolute cracking drop that over time rewards careful cellaring. The beer has all the good characters of a quality dark beer. Full flavoured with an almost smokey chocolate finish it is a gem. Winner of 2016 Thirlmere Beerfest.... And that about says it all. Get it in your arsenal!

Put one of these down and then gave a few bottles to 2 family friends who are seasoned home brewers (over 100 brews each). Blew both of their socks of & days later they were asking for the recipe. I couldn't take credit but sent them to the Country Brewer and told them what to ask for

First go at brewing this came out beaut! Even bought a bottle to test against - I think it even came out better! Hydro stopped at early but still came out tasting just fine!
