The Black Maximus's design is based on the “Bokakob” liquid management reflux columns, originally designed in 2001 with the plans made freely available for public download via the Internet.

Over the years many improvements have been made to the original designs, but the original concept has remained the same and proven to be very successful.

The Black Maximus will produce amazingly clean distillate at around 95% Alcohol by Volume (ABV), while being one of the easiest condensers on the market to control.

The stainless boiler features a conceiled element, boil dry protection and comes with a 12 month warranty.
