Country Brands Scoop the Prizes
It has been with great pleasure that we have witnessed our locally manufactured brand excel In fact, since their introduction in November 2003, Wal’s & X-TRACT have quickly become the choice of the discerning beer lover. Both these kits include fresh hop pellets in the can producing much more flavour and aroma than previously available. In the last 12 months the popularity of our “Wetpaks” has also sky rocketed … and it’s no wonder why. “Wetpaks” were the first concentrates formulated by The Country Brewer and were made with the true beer lover in mind … ie US! For those who have not yet had the pleasure, “Wetpaks” include all the ingredients for the brewer to do an extract boil at home. 3kg of malt, grain, hops & yeast all combine perfectly to create what we feel are the best home brewed beers available. But don’t take our word for it!! The most satisfying thing for us is seeing how these perform against other imported brands in the local competitions.
Considering the relatively short time these brands have been
available it has been amazing how well they are represented on the podium. Some

Things are looking up for the humble home brewer ... the selection of beers has never been better.
