At Thornleigh we always have a beer or two on tap for you to sample … some interesting beers like a Belgian Wit bier made with oats and chamomile flowers to a well balanced Pils or a nice Nut Brown! There is always something new brewing in the brew fridge!

What's a brew fridge? I hear you ask. It's a cheap and easy way to perfectly control your fermenting temperature. All you need is a working fridge or freezer that will fit your fermenter, and one of our “Fridge Controller Thermostats” which wires-up to the power cord. You simply program the required temperature for brewing, depending on your yeast and you're away! You can also wire up a heater pad to maintain temps in winter.

We have started stocking a selection of Wyeast liquid yeasts again. They come in a guaranteed sterile packet which contains the nutrient.  They cost more than the average generic yeasts, but it is easy to re-culture them and use for a number of brews. New stocks are ordered regularly. We currently have some BRITISH CASK ALE YEAST, THAMES VALLEY AND BELGIAN HIGH GRAVITY

Have you every thought of making some wine for the better half? We now have a small collection of wine kits which make the jog easy! Strawberry Riesling, Peach Chardonnay, Grande Shiraz, Pinot Noir and many more!
